Christmas eve sighting in car

One Christmas eve night I was out doing last minutes late shopping with my mother when I was 15 years old. Then after the shopping was done we got into the car, and drove off. When we were in the car, we looked up and saw every color imaginable and claimed it had to be an airplane. How could an airplane have every color imaginable? My mother and I then decided it wasn’t an airplane…it was something else. I told her it was Santa’s slay because it was soo close above us. She thought we were going nuts, but I believe we saw something like no other till this day and I am 18 years old now.

Clipper Vacations blog has a posting:

October 19, 2011

Victoria BC Ghost TourDid you know Victoria, BC is considered one of the most haunted cities in North America? Well, whether you believe in ghosts or not, taking a Ghost Tour around Victoria BC is a blast! There are several to choose from, but the Victoria Clipper has a Haunted Victoria Package deal that makes it effortless to visit the ghostly city.

I’m not too sure about ghosts, but I love history and these tours are walking history lessons – histories that apparently won’t stay in the past.

Something is Shaking My Bed

Share on TwitterSubmit to StumbleUponSave on DeliciousSubmit to redditShare via email

A posting I found, does not give much to go on but interesting, sounds like a classic haunting… One of those stories that really cant be corroborated.

by Garry
(Campbell River, BC, Canada)

After I got divorced I moved into a apartment, and soon afterwards my stepfather had a stroke that left him disabled. My mother was caring for him at their home but she also had health issues and needed help so I moved to her place. They owned their house and had a big yard with lawns and lots of flower gardens. Between doing yard work and helping with my fathers needs I kept quite busy. Two years later, my stepfather had another stoke that ended up being fatal. So I still live with my mother and by doing all of the upkeep and repairs she is able to stay in her home. We keep each other company.

Her house is a two-bedroom ranch so we each have our own bedroom. I started having unexplained encounters shortly after my stepfather’s death. While lying in my bed I would be awakened by what seemed to be a person walking past my bed. They bumped into it while passing. Also, my bed started to shake and it came from directly under the bed. At times I would feel a cold draft that would last a few seconds. Most of the things that happened were the shaking and somebody bumping into my bed. None of these shaking episodes were really hard shakes but sometimes they were one right after the other.

My mothers and my bedside lamps were turned on when they had shortly before been off. None of these things frightened me but there is a lot of unexplained things that I have no way of knowing what is going on other than a ghost is in our home.

I found a story http://www.ghosttheory.com that was submitted by KarenM,  here is an except…:

When I was young about 15 I move up to Vancouver Island to be with my sister and brother in law, that summer . I was in love with a friend of theirs and wanted to be with him.  I was losing my virginity to him around that time. They were in a old farm house, way at the back of the land ,that house was at the ends of its days. On 40 acres.  In Courtney, B.C. on Headquarters road. I am 54 now.

It all started slowly at night with tappings on the walls outside, high up. My sister had dogs at the time, big red setters,  they had too much energy and we were forever letting them in and out of the living room doors ….
